la baleinière avant que les hommes aient eu le temps de s'en

apercevoir. L'instant d'après, la lourde épissure à œil de

l'extrémité de la ligne gicla hors de la baille vide, renversa les

canotiers et, frappant la mer disparu dans les profondeurs.
